Can anyone help?? I'm wanting to put a header on my 2.5L....will I have to do any minor fabrications??? Will it bolt to the factory exhaust pipe, or should I just buy a new exhaust tube?? How about an air intake tube from the throttle body to my Airaid intake?? Where can I get a high flow cat?? Will a throttle body spacer be worth the money?? In dire need of input on this....

1) I think pace setter or pph makes a header for a 2.5L jeep. This will work on your engine.

2) Should fit on to everything you already have. It wouldn't hurt to go ahead and get a new exhaust built. 2.5" MANDREL BENT piping with single in/out muffler. Or gibson catback.

3) Go to turbocity.com to enquire about an intake and throttle body.

4)Forget about TB spacers. Spend that money else where.

5) Highflow cats from v8performance.com, krcperformance.com, trucktrenz.com.

6) And last but not least...SUSPENSION, SUSPENSION, SUSPENSION. 2.5L might be slow but at least you could make it handle good once you get some momentum. I recomend a hotchkis TVS system, roadmaster active suspension, bilstein shocks.

Look around on the net for al of these things. Ask the guy at turbocity.com for some help as well.

THE MONEY THAT YOURE GONNA SPEND ON ALL THAT STUFF YOU COULD JUST GET A V6 OR V8 SWAP FOR A LITTLE BIT MORE.BUT IF YOU WANT TO UPGRADE A 4 BANGER I WOULD LOOK INTO CATCO FOR A HIGHFLOW CATALYTIC CONVERTOR.IM NOT SURE ABOUT THE HEADERS BUT I KNOW CATCO MAKES A UNIVERSAL CAT BACK FOR 2.5 AND 3" EXHAUST SYSTEMS.

Doesn't it cost about 5K or better for a decent engine swap? That is unless you are doing all the work yourself.

Forgot to mention...avengersuperchargers.com. They make a blower for the 2.5L
