Message: It looks cool but you have to remember a couple of things. Hot air is bad and that intake is high in the engine compartment and over the exhaust manifolds. I think it equates to a 1% decrease in HP for ever 10 degree increase in intake temperature, and short of forced induction, a zero restriction intake is the best you can hope for!
No matter if you have one filter or five filters the truck will only pull so much air. Flowmaster says that a 350 running at 5500 RPM only neads 92.4 square inches of filter. That figures out to a 5" round filter 5.89 inches long!
I would say stay away from it and check out a couple of the home made filter set-ups the guys on this forum have built. They are cheap, logical and most of all, way more effective than that one!

Message: DTB said what I would say. It would look good on a t bucket with no hood but you put that thing over the top of your exhaust and you will lose horsepower big time.

Message: Might work with a cowl induction hood, other than that seem like a waste of money.

Message: Thats retarded, there is no heat shield first of all, and there is no need for 2 filters. The 7x5" cone filter is twice as much CFM that you need anyway. Hope some sucker buys it so we can rag on him in this board.
