Subject: converter IP: Logged
Message: i have a 99 318 with a 46RE tranny. I have installed a M1 intake, FIPK, KRC 210 cam, MSD blaster coil,about to install FMS injectors.... the transmission is out due to a converter failure.... my question is should i get a stall converter or stick with the stock one? I know mopar converters are on backorder so they are out of the question.... what others are you guys useing ?

Message: I have the Martin Saine 2800 stall and I love it. Its pretty streetable and it gives me a nice slingshot when the rpms get up to stall. I think he makes a 2400 stall too if you want milder.
Bought it from www.thefastman.com Talk to Dan , he`ll set you up. I think I paid like 250 for it but 500 to have a trans shop put in ( ouch ).
Out of all the mods ive done , the stall is one of my favs.

Message: Curt I have a used (V)opar convertor sitting in my room thats still in good shape...I ended up getting a Precision Industries convertor and don't need my old one anymore.
I'll sell it to ya for $100...dunno about shipping I'd have to check on the weight of it.

And yes this converter will fit your tranny it came out of my 46RE tranny.
