Subject: TQ-Converter IP: Logged
Message: I just wanted to know what the consequences of running a big cam that pulls from 2600 up 6000, and not having TQ-Converter to go with it. I have seen KRC performance that he pretty much recommends a TQ-Converter for all the cams he specs out.
Thanks for any info,
FROG

Message: I just did a heads(2.02 ported magnum) and cam (218/224) combo on mine and the consequences are your low end will be GONE. You can drive it with the stock converter no problems but its a DOG until 3000+ rpm. I still have the stock converter and it sux. Need that stall to get into the powerband quicker.
hope this helps

Message: go atleast 2400 stall and 4.10 gears on a dak with 28" tires... you could go 3000 stall but daily drivability will suffer.

Message: I ordered mine from MSaine and I went to have it installed and found out I got the wrong one and now my truck is out of comission until atleast tuesday or wednesday. I got one for a 518 instead of 500.
