Listen guys thats good that you can line you trucks up for straight line raciing agaisnt sports cars but use a truck for what they are ment for OFF ROAD! and i gaurentee that no integra prelude or mustang GT or S2000 will beat a boxster i don't know what stats you look at but the new 2.7L boxster will run a 0-60 in 5.8 s and 1/4 mile in 14.2 did you ever think that when you line it up with a boxster they are not giving it all because who buys a porsche to race trucks?? i got no problems with trucks or their owners its just i dont think that you should think we are yuppies because we won't go full out against your DAKOTA"S. THEre is also a lot more to racing than going in a straight line tell me when you can keep up with a boxster in the backroads with a modified suspenion. Maybe your trucks beat the 200hp boxsters from pre 1999 but as the the 2.7L you don't stand a chance in your modifed trucks. and tell me how long it will take for you engines to crack seals at 40,000 miles of drag racing them and how long a porsche engine will last while driving hard? ill be waiting for your dakotas at the next light in the boxster while you try to keep up

Big joe i think it is the other way around i got stomped by a boxster yesterday morning i have a 4.7L under my hood i was even with him through first gear and then he pulled me i couldn't catch him i hit about 115 and he had 5 or 6 car lengths on me. We had an open highway the hole time and he smoke my truck im convinced porsche boxsters are fast

Jealousy obviously boils through your rednecks and out your small heads. You're bashing boxsters because you're jealous. Do you think boxster owners are sitting around talking about freaking Dakotas on their postings? Here's a hint....NO! Admit it, you're jealous. As one guy so eloquently said, "you're still driving a dodge" How correct. I don't care if it's a dodge, porsche or what. What does it matter. Just realize the fact you're debating this is because your jealous of all the 'yuppies' you've been trash talking throughout this whole posting.
No, I don't drive a porsche, I don't like the boxsters, I don't like yuppies (and tend to agree mostly yuppies do drive them). I have a 98 Vette, which would dust all of your stock cars, boxsters and dakotas, but what's it really matter??

Hey...I'd like to see the boxterS or any other varaint for that matter line up against a '70 Challenger 440- six pack. There's a Dodge for ya. :-) And granted none of us can keep up with a boxter in a road course...That's not news to anyone here or on any porche board either for that matter. Although I bet my buddy's 2000 Viper with twin Garrett Turbos would keep up with him or ANY porche just fine...

Boxsters are for people who want to say they own a porsche but cannot afford a real porsche. I drove around in my buddys 03 911 this weekend and that is a nice car...but my truck still has more power. Take that 50K and spend it on a Z06 and laugh at the people driving boxsters.
