Kit (#20921),
1) When using this nitrous is it better to use stock pcm "less timing advance" or can i use the performance unit.

2) 2000 5.9 has anyone used stock fuel rail test port for nitrous fuel supply, if so what fittings did you use.

3) Do i leave the "Air Temp Sensor" in stock location or should i move it. When using nitrous will it detect cold temp and advance the timing.

You should use the Mopar unit to advantage of the higher RPM shift point.

The NX kit taps into the shrader valve on the fuel rail, and includes the cable/fittings.

I assume you are using the stock BB.. You can leave the IAT where it is-- will be fine.. OR, if you use a K&N tube, put it upstream of the NX shark fin.

I use and sell this kit.

12.52@109.6 mph on my 2000 RT w/150 shot and no bottle heater.

Sam; are you using stock pistons (5.9) with that much nitrous (150 shot). I was told our trucks don't like that must nitrous.

I don't think any stock vehicle would like a 150 jolt in the ass. Psst....with that much nitrous why not get a timing retard box wired in with the nitrous solenoid.

The 5.9L will run fine on a 100 shot (with no timing retard) and is safe if you don't abuse it(and makes sure you have good fuel/good ignition). The 150 shot (with no bottle heater) is really rich/weak, and more like a 125 shot. I don't pull timing-- I run 2 step colder plugs, only run VP 103 unleaded fuel when I am on the bottle... I do have felpro head gaskets, and RT 1.92 heads.

The 100 is more fun-- you get more passes out of it-- Jetting for a 125 would be the best-- but most risky of all (same fuel jet as a 100, but a step up on the N20 jet).

A digital 6 with timing retard (2 degree) trigger is the way to go-- My next mod down the road.

Well hell no, I wouldn't be afraid to stay advanced either if I was running 103 octane racing fuel.

Well, it is unleaded-- and I figure to do whatever I can to offset any chance of detonation... is better than not doing anything at all :^)
