Message: Got it from my neighbor. They run a small chassis company, so got it wholesale. Total was $460. Not sure what retail is.

I was running mine in behind the passenger seat (ClubCab) with a small hole (with grommet) for the blow-down tube.
I've seen several who put it in the bed but I'm worried about that. Theft and heat. (Perfect temp for the nitrous systems for the street user are 85-90 degrees max.

Message: I got a RC, so not too much room back there. Heat is an issue, but I would think it would be cooler in the bed. Being down south, temps get pretty dam hot in the cab when parked. Guess it would get hot under the bedcover also, but we'll see. Oh... I saw that you are using MSD also, are you using the timing retard with that? If so, which one? I have the 6AL with blaster coil, and see that there are a couple to choose from. Thanks for the input.

Message:
I'm running the MSD Digital-6+ which has a two-stage RevLimiter (one for Nitrous, one for without Nitrous) and a single stage Timing-Retard (for Nitrous) built into the unit.
When I was running the Nitrous, I ran a 2-4 degree retard under "the juice" depending on the size of the shot I was using.
50HP Shot = 0 Retard
75HP Shot = 2 Degree Retard
100HP Shot = 3-4 Degree Retard
Those are the figures that I was running...other applications will vary but it should be close. I was also running (and still am) the Autolite 3923's gapped at .040" and Super Unleaded with the 75HP shot...and the Autolites gapped at .038" with the 100HP shot. (Higher cylinder pressures = slight decrease in plug gap.)
