Message: I have a 52mm F&B TB for sale that you might like a little better than nitrous. It was only on the truck for a week and a half. I sold the truck for a new Viper GTS. I paid $535.00 for it shipped, I will sell it for $435.00 shipped to you. Noticed some big gains from this TB best on the market...

Message: Not trying to bust up a sale, but a 52mm F&B would be too large for your current setup... Maybe once you had an M1, rockers, and maybe more would it be a better choice. The N2O would give you a much bigger kick in the pants, but with that many miles your engine may be more sensitive to the side effects of the kit.

Message: That is why I suggested the TB and then like SinCity said you should get the M1 and you can pick up one of them for about $400 shipped with the install kit. I just think with the miles he should mod up the engine a little before he hits it with some happy juice.

Message: I have 162,000 miles on my 93 CC Dakota 5.2 and run 150hp NX nitrous system all the time...on the street and the track...and so far have not had any side effects at all. I don't know if my 5.2 is better built from the factory than a 5.9 , but it is all original including the intake. I do run dual exhaust ,3.92 posi rear, shift kit, MP computer and i do 13.2's at the track now on street tires. Without nitrous i run 14.9's. It is a big boost in performance without a doubt! This past Tuesday at the track was a R/T that has the larger throttle body and M1 intake put on and his actually slowed down! It would most likely do better if it had a better cam or something. I am going to the track ( Atco Raceway in NJ ) again this Tuesday with Mickey Thompson E.T. street drag tires and actually launch on nitrous to see if i can break into the 12's!!

Message: Dakracer2003 sounds like the nitrous is really working well for you.. congrats.
I'm no nitrous expert but beware hitting the naaawwssss right off the line as it put a tremendous strain on the pushrods etc, it is best to have the revs up before hitting the juice.

Message: Ummm, N2O is better for the engine off the line than in higher gearing (4th-5th). Try hitting N2O while in 5th doing about 60 and your motor will probably start to spit metal chunks out at you...
You can use N2O off the line in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with little to worry about (unless you have too large a shot jetted in there). Think about torque multiplication and gears...you'll understand where I'm coming from.
