For those of you that ported your throttle bodies, or for those of you that bought Fastmans...can you tell me if it's open up to a straight hole (ie step removed all the way around) or if the step is still there on the bottom half and removed on the top.
I can see where removing it along the top would do some good, but the butterfly sweeps along the step on the bottom. Esentually not allowing air through as fast intially, but then once past the step it's open more. I assume this was the design intent for more gracefully appling throttle.
Any thoughts?
