Subject: Anyone heard of Kenne Bell Optimizer... IP: Logged
Message: I have seen ads that state that this computer provides up to 25 additional horsepower. Does anyone have any experience with them especially with a 4.7 liter? If no experience does anyone have contact information for kenne bell?
Thanks in advance :)

Message: The Kenne Bell "Optimizer" is specific to their Supercharger kits. Nothing available as a seperate unit...unfortunately.

Message: Oh, contraire! We DO have the Optimizer II for stock vehicles! We have been working very hard for 4 years and have made a significant breakthrough on ALL Daimler Chrysler Engine controllers. Tell us what you want, and we'll tell you if we can do it! Contact Ken at kennebellperf@cs.com

Message: I know the optimizer comes with the KB s/c and piggy backs on the stock PCM to work with the blower

Message: Craig, talked all about this in a recent post. In the latest issue of Sport truck, you'll see that they do indeed offer an Optimizer II for the 4.7L V8 auto or manual 4x2 or 4x4. They claim to even improve shift points. I called & they said it will be avail in 6-9 weeks & when I asked if it really improved shift points they said "a little". Price is $349. See past post of mine for specs. I will be receiving a brochure with before/after dyno results. I will update post when I get it.
