i was just wondering if anyone has a stock exhaust setup from either a 4x4 or a 2wd V8 reg cab, i love my flow, but think its too loud, and am starting to get annoyed, willing to do even trade, im in the detroit michigan area, let me know guys, hyp0cracy@yahoo.com

i was just about to do that, it is a 40 series, offset inlet/out and is 2.5 inch exhaust, also i have a 5.2, but wouldnt mind any exhaust. thanx and let me know, also why am i gay? i cant wait to hear this

why the f**k would you go back to stock exaust after having a 40 series flowmaster? its like going back to 56k after having a cable connection. "it hurts my ears...wahh"

hyp0cracy ... I have a stock exhaust from the cat back off of my '00 4x4 QC 4.7. Not sure if it will work with your 5.2 or not, but I'll sell it cheap. I took off when it had about 40k mile on it. Unfortunately, I live in the St. Louis area, but if you are interested, let me know.

i dont know... i really dont want to pay for shipping because it will probably be close to as much as the muffler because of how heavy it is, ill keep it in mind though
also cory, what would you suggest for a quieter sounding performance exhaust? i dont knwo any that are quiet

hyp0cracy, ive heard that flowmaster 50 series are just about the same as stock in terms of loudness, but flow alot better.

you'll all are trippin...flowmaster's suck! I can't begin to tell you how many posts I have read about people swapiing out their flowmasters for something like a magnaflow and raving about the performance increase, flows add sound only, no performance, and in my humble opinion an annoying ass sound at that!

sorry but ive never heard anything on our trucks that i like as much as a 40 series, but i get up for work early and hate waking up the neighbors (they tell me i do) plus its anoying in cab resonance
also tracy do you know what size piping it is? thanx, and will you look into shipping on it please, and how much you want to sell for?
