Message: I have a 2002 dakota rt, ant when i first got it it would sometimes backfire through the intake, i have recently gotten a m1 on and i thought maybe it would go away but it hasent what is it i would really like to get rid of it some how

Message: go to the dealer and have your fuel synch set to 0(zero) . they might charge you an hours labor even tho it takes only a few minutes. If they act like thats not it skip them go to another dealer.
it has worked for some.
also check your tps voltage...
if your cap and rotor is old change that first should help some.

Message: you could also try relocating your map sensor vacumn hose down to one of the ports lower on the m1...some say that helped, did'nt help me tho.
