Jeff Arnold was making them but I think he has stopped production. I had the large and extra large, but I sold both of them. There is a noticeable gain in low-end torque when you go up to the extra-large. Do a search on here for Jeff Arnold and you should be able to find his email address. He may have some left.

Why did you sell your turtle if it improved performance?

I've been thinking of getting one but am wondering if there is a drawback.

Sharing your experience will benefit us!!

Thanks

I first bought the large turtle for low-end gain. Jeff later made and extra-large version, so I bought it and sold the large one. Since then, I sold the truck, and the intake and extra-large turtle went with it. I found no drawback with the turtle. I really liked the improvement it made to restore some of the low-end I lost with the M1. There was a noticeable difference from no turtle to the large, and even more so from the large to extra-large. I would definitely recommend one if you can find it.

A turtle is a pyramid shaped item that you stick inside the M1 intake manifold. It will not work with the stock beer barrel intake. It goes directly under the tb, and better directs airflow into the runners on the M1.

I did some searches before I made this post and it looked like Jeff was all out. I'll shoot him an email though, if he doesn't have one, maybe he'll know where to get one. Incase that doesn't work, the question still stands, anyone know where to get one.
