 Subject: shifting at 5500 rpm

check this out ,i have a 02 dakota R/T,my mods are,fipk,52mm tb,m-1,and spintech exaust.i thought the rev limiter on theses trucks is 5200 rpm.if i shift manualy i can shift at 5500 rpm.is there somthin wrong here,i thought you couldnt go past it...

Your tach is off, Gus Mahon, a turbo dodge guy did a study of stock tachs and found that they could be off as much as 1000rpms
