Goin nuts here, pullin my hair out. I have 2000 Q/C 5.9L, auto, 4x4, 3.55 gears. So far I have,

K&N Fipk
180 T-Stat
Borg warner cap and rotor
JBA 8mm wires
Autolite plugs
Cat back
Modded crankshaft sensor

Looking to keep or improve low end TQ and improve HP and TQ throughout rev range. Been looking at

Mopar PCM
50mm or 52mm TB
M1 2bbl or hughes Stage 1 intake
Crower 1.7 RR's or KRC 206 cam,
PPH headers
Hi flow cat
shift kit

I can't decide between M1 and Hughes, If M1 doesn't loose any low end torque then thats a go'er.
Would a 52mm TB Be to big??
And, should I go with 1.7 RR's or 206 cam?? Roller rockers will be no problem with instructions, how hard is a cam install? Never done one before, are there instructions to follow. Will there be a big improvement over the 1.7's to justify cam work.

Sorry about the long post.

Thanks

Don't think an M1 will help out on low end. Try some 4.10 gears.

2000 4.7 CC auto, clear corners, Magnaflow catback, Kenne Bell s/c, Aquamist water injection.

Im a big fan of the cam. Unfortunatly there arnt any good enough for the 4.7 yet. But in your case, Id say thats your best option for torque.

Intakes will actually hurt your "streetable" torque. However the better flow will help higher rpm HP (1/4 et's etc.).

Sorry, but I cant recommend a cam for the 5.9. Chevy 350 yes. You should be able to find something.

Go with the 1.7 RR's and the 206 cam. Have you got any type of custom exhaust setup?

K&N Drop in AF (CAI during summer months)
True Dual exhaust and removed third cat
HO Cams & HO Intake
FASTMAN 70mm TB
Autolite 3923 Plugs

Yeah, Custom cat back, no muffler (Got the hot dog instead). You say 1.7 RR's and 206 cam. Would that be to much for the valve springs??? Sound's interesting!!!

What about the M1 with the turtle. I hear that it helps restore some of the low end TQ.

The 50mm would probably help your torque more than a 52mm would, but it wouldn't be too big.

Boy I wish I knew who the chicken "S" was that flamed me for no reason.

He used my name and quoted: "That was totally useless the gut doesn't have a 4.7 you know nothing about a 5.9. sit back down and finish your Lucky Charms................"

What he was refering to my quote: "Im a big fan of the cam. Unfortunatly there arnt any good enough for the 4.7 yet. But in your case, Id say thats your best option for torque."

I meant that I have a 4.7 and although Im a fan of the cam there arnt any for me. I also said "but in your case" meaning he has options and I feel like thats the best for torque in his parts listed.

So if you dont have the balls to use your own name to flame me with , at least you can pay attention to what my posts actually say, to find something "worth while" to flame me about. idiot
