I know they arent that big of a deal but just had to post this because it was funny as heII!
Anyways because of my adjustments of that transmission cable on the throttle body my tranny wont kick down when the vehicle is in drive!
Well I pull up to the light not expecting to race or anything and the lane I was in was an onramp lane to the highway about 50 yards after the intersection so I had to merge left before then! Well the light goes green and I'm in drive and take off about half throttle and the 454 guy thought I was racing and he hammered it and started to pull back alongside. By that time I was doing 25 or so and dropped it into first and just pulled away with ease! He pulled alongside me afterwards and started revving up his engine!
The funny part was that it was in front of a dodge dealership and the guys outside gave me a thumbs up as i was going by! Guess they heard us coming!
Oh and I spanked my buddies 01 Monte Carlo SS at work 2 days ago but that wasnt even close!

I had a 454ss. it was slower than my 89 GMC with a 350. Still pretty cool to beat a 454ss.
as for the Monte well its a FWD v6 so it would suck if he wasted you
