Subject: Which Cam? IP: Logged
Message: After hours of reading I still can't figure it out: which cam will give me more mid to top end power:
MOPAR @ Intake 236 /.472 Exhaust 250 / .429
Lobe sep ??
KRC 206 @ In 206 /.502 Ex 218 /.463
Lobe 112
If torque doesn't change from stock - I've got enough....truck dies on the upper end.

Message: Give us more info about the truck. I have the KRC 206X and it has killer mid-top end power. I have a 5.2L with M-1 and M/P headers.

Message: The truck is a 2003 QC 4x4, 5 speed auto with 3.92 gears. 4K miles. Only mods are gibson exhaust and K&N.
Uses: I don't 4X4, I do tow a boat once in a while, looking for more midrange for occasional street races - that's all.
Thanks

Fire me an email, call me 619-274-1292-- I work with KRC & Crower on custom cam configurations-- I can go over what you have for mods, your operating range, etc. My current cam is a good low end, GREAT midrange cam, and peaks at 5450-- No loss of low end compared with stock-- and a broader torque curve.
