Subject: Dash lights IP: Logged
Message: I was driving home lastnight and all the lights on my dash went out. The speedo, tach, and all the lights that normally come on when your lights come on. Also when I hit the button to lock my truck on the remote the lights didnt flash on the outside of the truck. Could this be a fuse or what? My head lights work and so do the lights on the radio. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Message: Check fuse #9, I believe that is the one. That fuse only controls the dash illumination.

Message: It says on the panel that its the panel dim for #9. I dont know if that is the same or not. But I dont have an extra fuse for that one. It has a five on it and all the others have a 10, 15, or 20. How do I tell if it is blown or not? Its an 02 cc R/T if that makes difference.

Message: Pull the fuse out with the little white puller or a pair of tweezers. Look at it from the side you should see a S-shaped wire inside...if the wire is broken then its blown. If you're not sure then pull another fuse you know isn't blown and compare.
