Message: Well, the 3" in, dual 2.5" outs would have flowed better but it would have cost more for the extra tail pipe out. The 40 is fairly loud. I heard the 50 is not quite as loud but still flowed about the same (at least not enough difference to tell). What about the 80 Matt?

Message: I am almost positive the higher the number you go (40, 50, ect.) the quieter that mufflers are, now mind you, some are made for SUVS and RVS and applications like that but they definatly get quieter and more restricting the higher number you go. 40 is their loudest that dealers stock, so ive noticed around here, but from Summit i purchased the little 10 series, and having both the 40 and 10 series can guarentee you that the 1 chamber 10 is WAY louder
