Subject: Throttle Body Problem: IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 R/T and I have been having trouble with my TB sticking. It is a 52mm F&B and it is only about two weeks old. It sticks when running and doesn't want to close all the way. I have tried lubing up the coil and that doesn't seem to work anyone else have this problem or do I just have a defective piece. I have also adjusted the TV Cable numerous times.

Message: The F&B's have a roller cam on the throttle cable linkage...round, about the size of a nickel, with a groove in it. The throttle cable must go on the bottom side of the cam to work right. If yours is like my V6, there was no cam on the stock linkage. Be worth a check...
