 Subject: MBRP Cuda Exhaust

I have a 2002 dakota r/t and I was planning on getting the cuda style exhuast from MBRP. Does anybody know how good this exhaust is, how much it costs, where to get it for the best price, is there any power increases, and do you think it sounds the best for the money? Answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated.

i was going to get it, but i someting came up and i couldnt do it.
MBRP cuda catback in stainless steel, with rollpan un-painted is $636 USD.
i was told they offer good performance, as their muffler is tuned for our trucks. its got a nice sound, but not too loud.
i wish that "other" stuff didnt come up!! o i would have it.

For guys wanting the same look and a very mild big block exhaust sound.... I went with the cuda pan (proglass makes them for MBRP), MBRP tips and a Gibson cat back dual system

Yeah it cost a little more cause I bought the parts from three vendors. Since I am an older guy I wanted a very mild rumble of power. The gibson cat back makes good power but keep the noise down. You can hear it even cruising at road speed but its like MUSIC. not loud or obnoxious.
In my opinion the MBRP is great for the younger crowd, I just wanted something different.
So I got the mild Gibson sound with the cocky MBRP look. The combination requires a muffler shop to bend the pipes and weld on the tips for
coming out the roll pan.
The end result is worth it for me. I've had alot of compliments on the exhaust. Pick what is right for you.

rt for 4 thanks for your input. i think i want to go with the mbrp exhaust cause i am a younger guy and like the louder aggrissive sound. its just hard to find the system thats all so if anybody knows a place to get it cheap in arizona or online let me know thanks

I got the MBRP Split Duals from Jonas at www.elitecustoms.com at a better price than MBRP could give me. Jonas is the best, check him out. You won't be disappointed.

We installed the Cuda Exhausts (through the rollpan) on our 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab in 2001. There is nothing and I mean nothing that comes close to the purr and roar we get from these exhausts. Sounds great outside and inside. We still get stranger compliments when they hear the truck cranking up, idling, crusing or open road. Better yet, its my wife's truck and she still comments how she loves her truck and the sound of it. Granddaughter (13) is already told her when she's too old to drive, she wants the truck because her friends thinks the sound of the truck is hott! Is that enough about MBRPs?
