Message: Just reading through the various stock spec's of current production cars and trucks
If what I hear about the 4.7 sport reg 5 speed running under .15 is true there isn't much production wise that will touch this.
The only BMW listed that was faster is th roadster $$$
It's running at par and under several V8 Mustang times. Only the Saleen will kill it again $$$$$
GM Camaro's and vet's are of course faster but not the super charged Grand Prix.
As for ricers the Prelude,Eclipse,Celica GTS and Civic SI were all in the low to high 15's and even cost more than my Dak.
The Acura V6 is a lot quicker however but again $$$
After that only your exotics were showing faster times but of course major dough. I guess the bottom line is that I was quite surprised at just how fast this truck is compared to all the production vehicles out there. The ones that do run faster for the most part are way more exspensive and a super charger away from meeting there match.
Great to be a Dodge fan!!

Message: Is this what you are getting, Jeffster. Maybe that is what I should get too. I looked at those S-10s like you suggested. They are not big enough. Although I need gas mileage, I would like to drive something that powerfull too.

Message: Ahh your back!! Yes 4.7 Sport is one fast machine. Iv'e always loved fast cars but have needed the versatility of a truck and as I am sure you would agree no trucker is as mean looking yet as elegant as the Dakota.
I can't help but get this feeling that your yanking our chain. You know a dancer with feet that hurt asking about a pedal does seem a little to "exotic" as one other poster pointed out but hey "it's all good" regardless. Mind you if you had never driven a truck of any type you may have meant trucks in general and in that case your question is very plausable.
Todays clutches and break pedals car or truck are all hydraulic and operate and feel quite simmilar. I would suggest if your feet are really that sore you may want an auto even though a stick is of course more fun. Also make sure your "nerd boy friend" massages them regularly for you. If you are indeed a cute exotic dancer I know I would. LOL. Sorry for some of my unessesary remarks. It's a rebound thing. Just had my heart ripped out and stomped on after 2 of the best years of my life.
Good luck!!

Message: I got off of work early tonight. My feet are O.K. tonight but they get tired after a long night on the stage. I am interested in the hydraulic thing you are talking about. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I'll check back later. I need to get to bed now. Oh yeah! I'm thinking about getting rid of the nerd. I have no feelings for him.
