Subject: Serpentine Belt Tensioner IP: Logged
Message: I replaced my serpentine belt today and when I pulled the tensioner clockwise to remove the belt, it did not spring back into position after I removed the belt. Does this mean that my belt tensioner is bad? I had to pull the tensioner counterclockwise to get the slack out of the new belt.
