Subject: exhaust system identification IP: Logged
Message: I recently bought a used 2000 dak cc, which the previous owner was kind enough to supply with a dual cat-back exhaust...the dealer says it is supposedly a flowmaster...but you kno dealers...so is there anyway i can absolutely identify the system brand?
any and all help is appreciated.

Message: Have you been to FlowMasters web site check out some of their system photos and compare them to yours, their muffler has identifing factors the welded seam down the middle and weld marks for the baffles. Also is the tubing mandrel bent?

Message: It may be just a turbo muffler. I have one on my truck ( and about to throw it away and go with GIBSON) and it has nothing on it. I got it installed a a muffler shop.
