All of you with the 2001 and up 4.7L who cant get the flash you want'go with the ROE Racing Controller,I just installed it ant the first words out of my mouth were"Thank you GOD".
It ties all the mods together, and bumps up the timing,So dont waste you money on flashes that don't work,Just call KRC and get you ROE box for your 4.7L. IT WORKS!!!!!!

Huh? A Roe controller is a MAP tweaking box. Where did you get the timing thing?

BTW, flashes for '01 and '02 trucks are right around the corner. The tuning software was in beta test as of yesterday.

On the 5.9 it should be the center wire on the MAP and on the 4.7 it's the red green or the right wire.

OK,

let's have some more objective info here please.

Is this just a map sensor adjuster?, or will it actually do things like timing advance/retard, etc? Can it adjust a/f ratios?, For the aute guys, will it change their shift points?, For me, will it keep the PCM doing it's job past 5500+rpm?

TIA

my understanding is dodges run real rich at wot from factory 11 to 1, so it leans the fuel out to get about 10 poneys. I have an hks afr-d at home I never got around to installing I will have to extend the wires to mount it in the cab and its got a screw type adjustment for tuning. when I get back from spring break I'll get this thing hooked up finally and let you guys know how it works ontop of my optimizer II

From the description of the wiring hookup, this is the same old Roe controller(MAP signal tweaker).

So where did the suggestion of modified timing come from?

The Roe and the Split Sec box(which I have experience with) are the same thing. Doesn't touch your timing. You might be looking at the wrong product description.

I have the Roe on my R/T. Works OK , I guess. I wish I coulda dynoed before/after to see some results. I got the A/F meter with it. 2nd blue light (13.2 : 1 A/F) comes on @ WOT. Was running pig rich before.

I think they make one to adjust the timing also , bit it looks like a wiring nightmare.

I`ll probably be selling my Roe soon `cause I`m getting a custom PCM tune.

Good luck to you. I can guarantee you that if Roe had access to custom programming for the V10 he wouldn't be fooling around with that band-aid deal. No way, shape or form with that compete with a good custom flash.

You might be comparing a canned flash or looking at Todd's poor results on his B&G, but a *good* flash will always beat the band-aid boxes hands down.
