Message: Yes, I know, everyone asks you guys about the dual exhaust. But I need to hear it from the experts here, and see what you guys think and know. I have a 2002 dodge dakota, 4x4 SLT with the 4.7.. Now, I am buying the MBRP dual exhaust, because eveyone here insists on it. BUT my question is, Will my spare tire be able to remain there without getting in the way??? And also I am purchasing a hitch, will the hitch still work???? Thanks guys.. One more question, i know the exhaust runs from the cat back, but does it interfere with your gas skid plate??? I wold really appreciate any help you guys could give. Thanks again

Message: Everyone here insists on it ? I thought the general consensus was that dual exhaust on a 4.7 will cost you power unless your motor is extensively modified ?

Message: General consensus is full of bologna, and has never even had a true dual setup. There's no way in hell I could run mid 14's without the setup I'm running. I'd be stuck at 14.9-15.1 w/out my true dual exhaust (and removed third cat).
