Subject: Cat removal on 99 R/T IP: Logged
Message: I have a 99 R/T and was wondering if anyone makes a Y-pipe to remove the cat. On 99's the cat has two inlets for each manifold and then one outlet. Just wondering if anyone has ever removed theirs. Thanks

Message: Nobody make a y-pipe for the purpose of replacing the cat, but if you can find an exhaust shop that would do the work for you, there are several y-pipes that can be used.

Message: KRC Performance makes a custom Y pipe. I believe it is designed to be used with a highflow cat.
But if you choose to leave off the cat I
think it would work. There web address is
