Message: 4.7 has separate coils for each plug.....not sure if someone makes aftermarket "coil on's" for the 4.7.

Message: Do not waste your money. Hell will freez over before you are able to improve on a coil on system! You would have to have 8 accel coils and a triger device to make any difference and it would still be negligable at best! One coil can not match it because the one coil would not have enough time to saturate. You would not be able to increase dwell enough. THe coil on system you have right now provideds more energy to the plug then any single coil setup. One guy tried an after market setup and as predicted the only thing that he had to show for his work was a lighter wallet! Yes he dyno tested his mod. Seldom will any ingnition mods really do much for you. For the most part the ignition mod companys are just trying to get as much money as they can from do it your selfers. Most after market ignitions really only help if you are running 1 atmosphere of boost or going past 6000RPM's. THe only cheap mods that really produce power are forced induction, NO2, and flash and cam change. Once these are done then things like cleaning up the intake and exhaust breathing and ignition becomes issues some times.
