Message: The way you describe it-- sounds like you have an exhaust leak. Do have headers perhaps??? (A header gasket leak, and rocker noise can sound VERY similar).
If you don't have headers, it's best to go through and readjust all of them on one side (in the proper procedure). Looking for just one isn't really easy (more of a miss than hit type of thing).
Being that it's during engine load (accelerating)-- that really sounds like a exhaust leak (been there done that).
Let me know.

Message: Jake they are blue rollers rockers made by crane cams 450 bucks out the door everything included was a very easy install too bout 3-4 hours i had a friend turn the crank from under the truck as i adjusted the valve lash to zero then 1/4 turn and lock...
my first impression was that they were a waste of money i couldnt tell any real difference from stock THEN couple days later i was doing like 35-40 i look in my rear view mirror this new black envoy on my tail i hit the throttle tranny kicks dawn to second gear and wwoooowww truck kept pullin real hard i actually felt the difference...

Message: i suggest you remove valve covers first to do the header gaskets much easier to get at the bolts that way

Message: Not really sure about removing the valve covers to do the header gaskets!?!!? That doesn't make any sense.
First off-- 1/4 turn past Zero lash probably isn't enough-- I do 3/4-1 turn on Crower rockers.
Mopar rockers are notorious for having problems with the studs loosening-- The double-nut to torque then down trick isn't always 100%. Make sure you don't have a loose stud, and then readjust your rockers (all of them), AT LEAST 1/2 a turn past zero lash-- I would do 3/4 personally and see how that goes--
You can check a header leak with a small piece of tubing/hose... put it to your ear and the other end of the areas near the header. To check it under load, have a friend put the truck in gear, brake on (E brake and foot brake), and slowly load the engine-- The ticking sound will mostly likely show itself then. If the engine is cold when you do this, you can (for a short period of time) take your hand and run it around the various areas of your headers you suspect to have a leak. These leaks can be felt sometimes, and sometimes not.
Header gaskets can be replaced without removing the valve covers... you can unbolt them with shorty 3/8" wrench, and also a long 3/8" (get both, throw them in the glove box for future tightening). Unbolt the headers, and you can pull them off of the heads, and slip out the old gaskets. PPH/Mopar headers use BISON (I think that's it) gaskets-- and they are very good quality gaskets (they will take a few loose header/retighten episodes without fully burning-- unlike MR. Gasket or others that will turn to crap upon the first 'leak').
If you need more gaskets, let me know, I can get them.

Message: If you do have an exhaust leak, you can potentially burn a valve if it's not corrected. I wouldn't let it go too long.
