Subject: Well, it's blown... IP: Logged
Message: My belly pan gasket is blown by the looks of the oily film in the intake.
Couple questions:
1. How long can I drive it like this safely?
2. Where can I get a lightly modified stock manifold? I'm probably not going to mod enough to take advantage of an M1, but as long as I have it off, I'd like to upgrade.
If a modded stock manifold is available, how much $$$?
Thanks guys!

Message: www.fast4x4.net has instructions in the "how to" section on doing a dremel job on your manifold. Reworked stock manifolds are pricey and if you won't be going so far as to need an M-1, just do your own. I wouldn't cut down the fuel runners much since your truck is a 4x4. Just a good clean up/polish job.
