Message: Hey Eric---Looks like Carlsbad will be open
again in a week or so. All they have to do is put
in the K rail that has been donated. The price
went up to $15.00, because of the insurance
issues, but they are extending the race day.
The track will now open at 10am, instead of
1pm.

Message: Eric, K rail is a cement barrier that are
sometimes used as temporary safety
barriers on streets or highways. I guess
the insurance company required them
to get their coverage.
