Sorry for all the posts, but I think randomly.

*twitch*

OK, I have a stock 97 Dak 3.9L. I am interested in moding the suspension "a little bit".

I was thinking of putting on rear R/T springs and Front and Rear R/T sway bars.

Could I get the pros and cons of doing this. I want the truck to sit an handle better, but not rupture my spleen when I run over a dime.

Thanks

Sway bars only affect body roll and would be a good addition. What are you trying to do with the suspension mods? I have the Hellwig sway bar on the rear and can really tell the difference.

The stock rear springs make it sit @3" higher than the front. I am trying to lower the rear just a little and stiffen it up a bit.

thanks

I bought my dak with the sport suspension plus and found it to have too much body roll on turns. I know its a truck, but I wanted a little better handling. I don't know much about R/T suspensions, but I did install a R/T Front sway bar and replace the stock rear bar with a Quickor on my QC. I also changed the shocks to KYB MonoMax. All in all, alot less body roll, slightly softer on bumps and not as bouncey. I changed the shocks vs the rear leaf springs because I heard the stock ones wear out quickly.

Stock R/Ts are supposed to have the same lateral g's as the Mustang GT and the Camaro Z28.
