Message: I just got my Harand Sharp non-adjustable 1.7 aluminum roller rockers today for my 2002 R/T, and before I crack into these things I need to make 100% sure I dont need heavier springs or any other valve train mods before I can run these do I ?

Message: it wouldn't hurt to change the springs... plus you will have everything out of the way so it will be quite easy... the hughes springs are like $140.00 with the retainers... good insurance..

Message: Oh well, me and a buddy just finished the 1.7 aluminum RR install and it was alot easier than I thought. It only took 2 hours and we were bullshixxin' most of the time. Too late now for springs, Ill just have to hope it will all be ok with the stock valve train. The non-adjustable Harland Sharps are the way to go, no lash or timing to consider, just rip off the stock arms and bolt on the new ones and take off. It definately takes three hands, so you should get a buddy to help, but its super easy.
