Ok, ok, ok! WHAT is the best Cold Air Intake System out there for the '02 5.9L??? I have seen prices from $99 all the way to $270!! They all seem to look the same in the pictures, so whats the deal??? I like K&N, they have been doing this for quite some time now, but are they turning into Sony??? Just paying mostly for the name? As you can probably tell, I am getting a bit frustrated at this point and would LOVE some help from ya. I am interested in 2 things: Most power and BEST fuel economy. The 5.9L is a thirsty beast and I would love to extend the economy AND improve performance. ( I know, keep my foot out of it! ) But that aint no fun. Thanks in advance and I am starting my trip down modification lane...

Just get 360airintakez. I've heard nothin but positive feedback on the 5.9L intake. It uses 3.5" ceramic coated pipe, an S&B filter, and has a heat sheild.

There is a group buy for the 360 Air Intakez. I just bought mine for my 4.7 for $165 shipped.

I too could not see spending an extra $100 for the K&N. But I also didn't want a sewer main under my hood either. This seemed like the best compromise. And, from what I've read, performs as good or better than the K&N.

I've used a 360 Air Intakez system since just after I bought my truck and it works great.
