Anyone out there run with Spintech mufflers? I was wondering what the best sounding one out there is? I have a v6 but i want it to sound more like a v8.

I am using spintech mufflers on a 4.7 right now and they sound great. I am using the small race mufflers, I wouldnt go too big.

I was looking at either the Pro Street or the Sportsman Street something in the 2.5 inch range.

Yea, I'm using the pro streets 2.5 in and 2.5 out, they sound great.

Are they really loud? Are they always loud or is it loud when you only hit the gas? How is the interior noise?

I've always wondered what they'd sound like on a V6 as well. I've only seen them used on the R/T's really though.

They are plenty loud on my 4.7, I dont have any big mods and it has a really good tone at idle. When I step on it people say it sounds like a firebird, a really deep throaty sound. The interior noise isnt bad at all, but that has a lot to do with how you mount them to the frame. Make sure you have nice big rubber spacers. I've been really pleased with them. Dont know what it would sound like on a V6 though.
