It says it has gasket material left on them, chips in chrome, etc.

I tried a set of them a few months ago. Spend the extra money and get some JBA's. Nothing but exhaust leaks from the drivers side header. They only hurt my performance. I can email you pics if you'd like.

i emailed these guys last night from work,because i wanted some.not to stir up anything,but i asked about leaking headers,and they got pissed!they emailed me first thing this morning!they wanted to know who and where i heard this info.they said they stand behind them.....fyi

I would like an email from the " PERSON " who bolted them up and have exhaust leaks. Becuase the ONLY person we have sold these to was GDTAK and " he " is pleased, bolted up 2 sets.

There is nothing wrong with these Headers.
Yes - JBA is GREAT as well - we carry them also.

I have been eyeballing these headers also, strange that they have a bunch of "used" headers layin around. Question for SSAutoChrome, the info from ebay auctions states they were not used, but installed and uninstalled, why? are they factory defects that failed testing or something? Seems like too good of a deal for performance headers unless they have issues. I've been wanting to add headers but the horror stories of leaks that can't be fixed after has kept me away. Either way, the chrome finish would prolly rust up quickly here in NY so ceramic coated may be the best bet for me anyway although the cost goes up considerably.
Is STAND BEHIND actually from the company selling these headers? if so, how much to sell them to us apart from ebay? any further savings buy cutting ebay out of the equation? Also are header gasket's required or just the sealant the factory uses? Thanks.

I bought a set of the gibson headers and havent had any problems with leakage. The only thing I wasnt happy with was the chrome getting discolored from heat but I didnt really buy them to be pretty. I had a very noticable gain in low end torque and have been totally satisfied. Plus they were less expensive than the JBA's.

so i guess the answer why the auctions were cancelled is because of being a redneck?well i played email tag several times today to get a honest answer why my auction was cancelled.no answer that satisfied me.this person got very unprofessional,until i told him like it was,he replied with an apoligy.whomever it was was not
representing their company well.i will look elsewhere for headers,and thats the end of that.

Hey Guys - I know SSAUTO and I called them - and they did not even write that stuff - that 1 800 number is some Spanish Chick - it is all a Joke.
I know Bucky at SSAUTO and he is a Good Guy - and he is a Redneck - so the Punk who wrote that is going to get his IP Address checked by the Administrator of the board so you know it is a Little puck kid doing this.

Hey said that he is selling them on EBAY starting at $100.00
He is not selling them for $100.00, but the bidding starts at $100.00
They are Not rejects - nothing wrong with them he buys a lot of stuff, and moves a lot of headers.
They are also a dealer for JBA
He said he sold ( 2 ) sets in the past, and had them installed, so he does not think the leak post is for his headers.
