i have a 91 dakota w/a V6 as you all know this is before the magnum package this is really a big headache for me because i feel like i will never have any power to have fun with, my truck looks really nice ive done several things to it i just wish i could get more power w/o an engine swap
part of the problem is the trans. i think i have 3.55 gears but no high end i can get like 88-90 mph this really sucks i also dont have much take off, i have a 00' model v6 engine at my disposal but i was told i would have to rewire everything under the hood and change out the comp this would be very expensive if any body knows of anything i can do it would be very appreciated
91' dakota xtra cab lowered 3 inches in the back windows tinted two tone dark blue on top silver under molding i have 94' model chrome rims V6 automatin with o/d 3.55 gears

Try a K&N air filter to start the modifications out.Give me a list of what you do have if anything.

i dont really have anything done under the hood i had been planning to put the 2000 model V6 in so i wasnt really worried about power when i got the truck but now that i have found out that it would cost an arm and a leg to put that motor in i wish there was something i could do. ive read that this motor only has 125 horse power and thats not much to work with if i could change engines it would be an automatic 50 more horses. another thing ive wondered about is would putting a throtle body from a 318 give me any advantages or would i just run to rich
