Subject: exhaust and air intake?
IP: Logged

Message:
I have a 1994 dakota extended cab 4x4 with a
5.2 318. I'm lookin into buying an air intake
and and entire exhaust system. I noticed
everyone says the JBA headers are the best
but i don't feel like spending 600 bucks just on
headers. any other suggestions? are gibson
any good? also a good flowing and good
sounding cat-back system. with dual exits out
the back. i am planning on probably buyin a
K&N intake because their relativly cheap and
have great reviews. but i would like to know if
it's just a filter or does it include the tubing
too? if anyone has any onther suggestions or
helpful websites their welcome. thanks

Hey Mark, I have a 94 Dak CC 4x4 5.2 (5-spd) as well, and I'm investigating possible intake and exhaust combos. K&N for the filter with a home-made intake system (as the one that you can order with the filter is 'round about a hundred to a couple hundred CAN$). I'm looking for economical but efficient headers and Flowmaster single-in / duel-out for the exit. I have a couple of ideas regarding the intake and exhaust (as well as suspension) that I'll be running by the Dak forum here once I get some more info. I'll keep a eye out for you here.
