Hey all,
I got a T trim blower just about ready for installation, but before I do... what little items should I go ahead and replace/ beef up beforehand? I don't want to go too wild and dig into the internals.

I was thinking an M1 (2 or 4?), a set of pos perf headers, MSD 6btm, 52mm TB.

Does this sound about right? I figure while the engine's apart to go ahead and do a little "housekeeping" before I stress it with forced induction.

Thanks

I would definately go with the headers, high flow cat and 3" if you already don't have them, 3923 plugs, M1 2bbl couldn't hurt, a 52mm t/b is not necessary but will help throttle response, I would install a set of FMS 19lb injectors before the t/b.... I am looking into the 6BTM for my KB but not sure if it is necessary.

what size is the mopar perf headers y pipe outlet? 3 in? 2.5?

i already have a 3 in spintech muffy on it. prolly should breakdown and get that hi flow cat :)

change the head gaskets! the fel pro 1008's are a good choice.

also, if you are not going to do heads and a cam (or even a mild cam and 1.92 RT heads) get the 2 bbl M1.

a throttle body will work VERRY well. been there and done that. expecially when using the M1. on the 360, you might want to get the 52mm

the mopar outlet is 3", but comes with a 3 to a 2 1/2" adapter for thoes who still have the stock exhaust. im my case, i just had a shop weld a flange to my 3" pipe and im running a full 3" system

i am running the ford 19lb injectors, and didnt notice jack when i put them in. runs like the stocks are in it. i am probably going to step up to the 21's soon...
with your vortech, you should leave the stock injectors in, and if you need more fuel under boost, get bigger aux injectors for the airhat.

you might want to try the autolight 3922 plugs (2 heat ranges colder). helps with detonation.

Head gaskets if more than six lbs, and if you keep your stock intake, get a bellypan reinforcement kit
