Message: yet another home brew question.
I've got all my materials, pvc sched 40 3" pipe, 2 45degree elbows, female connector, all the goodies.
my question is this: how do you brace the whole getup once you get it installed? you dont just leave it hanging do you? is there some kind of support any of you found that works good?
any input would be very appreciated.
thanks,
arick

Message: I've got the 3.9 v6...sorry.
i'm just going to paint it with heat resistant flat black paint. i'm going to sand the pipe lightly before hand to get the paint to stick better.(maybe)
pics would be awesome!

Message: I used the flexible 'fernco' 90deg on my TB on my 4.7. I'ts flexible enough to 'give', but won't collapse under WOT, so it's much more versatile. It has a very long w\radius 90 also. Some of the PVC's I've seen have a very tight bend. NOt good for air flow.
The 3.9/5.2/5.9 is a different animal though.
