oh my gosh.i was out g-teching the dak,the first i drove it with the new intake on it.was making some runs,ran very smooth.great throttle response.awesome intake sound,blended well with my exhaust tone.
last run on the way back to the house,actually about 300 yards away....STATE TROOPER!i live in the country,sort of.3 miles from town,and a state trooper?i think someone called.i slowed down in a flash.he looked at me like he was pissed.i went to school with him,but that does not matter some times.he kept going,
thank god,he did not flash his lights,or hit his brake lights.he scared me,that was enough for him i guess.i have never had a ticket,and i'm almost 34.pretty good.almost blew that!i wonder what he would said if he saw the nitrous?
i was not using it.temp too cold.that was a close one!

Haha... always happens when ur having fun!.... good job on not ever getting a ticket!.. wish i could say the same. I guess 2 tickets in 5 years isnt to bad is it??
BTW, did u get any numbers on the G-Tech??

I have gotten 2 tickets within the last 3 months....that ain't too bad is it? Still gotta go to court for one (wreckless endangerment or something) Needless to say I try to stay outta the throttle from now on.

me and my brother-in-law got pulled over
driving to mammoth mountain...he got us at
85mph...NOS bottle in the back, the worx! he
didnt even ticket us for the tinted front
window...a few miles back he could have
gotten us for doin 120+ while spankin a
lightning (in a tacoma!)

I average about 2 tickets a year. I currently have 12 points on my insurance. It's not too bad considering the times I've run and escaped. My insurance is about double what it would be with no points. clocked at 85 in a 60 then fleeing and eluding, failure to stop for blue lights and siren and sped all the way up to 140+ and never looked back. I'm sure they could have got me for reckless driving and reckless endangerment too. Good thing they never caught me ;)

dude you would of spent some time in jail,max is 10 years for failure to yeild.community service is the least,with a fine.took some criminal justice classes while in the military.you were lucky.most police will not chase over 1 mile because of endangerment to innocent people.
