on my 5.2 liter 1999 model, can you anyone tell me how many quarts of oil it takes to fill it up, for some reason after about 3 weeks after i change my oil, if i have to suddenly come to a stop the oil pressure drops all the way down and my check engine lights come on, what causes this, could i have a bad vacuum or what please help,

umm.... check your dipstick after adding oil, then you'll know how much it takes. I believe the owners manual says 5 quarts, my 4.7 chugs down 6 quarts
