It took a while but my friend found out that it was the crankshaft position sensor after all. When it was below 45 degrees and the engine was cold and warming up, there was a problem with keeping it running. It would shut off without warning until it was fully warmed up. At light throttle and at stop lights gave the most trouble. If it was warmer than 45 degrees out then there was no problems with it. Since replacing the sensor, no problems. Thanks, guys.
