 Subject: Rattle in muffler

I have a muffler from the local muffler shop on my truck, it is made by them in there shop. my question is that it sounds like there is a rattle inside, is it possible fot a baffle to come loose or something like a baffle.

yes its possible...and if they told you 'they made it in-shop' they are full of sh1t..or that explains why you hear rattling...do you only hear it after you turn it off, or all the time, under acceleration???

no problem, it definitely could be something loose in the muffler..also, depending on how long ago it was done, it could be a rusted/broken clamp or something..i would go back to the shop and have them take a look at it..they should definitely fix it for free...good luck!
