Message: for the trans temp (the electrical gauge), i bought this anodized aluminum or steel manifold with mine...the only problem is that you have to cut the hard transline at some place and like pressure fit the manifold into it. search summit's part number atm-2286 to see a picture of what im talking about..anyway, thats the 'easy'way..dont know about any other methods.
if you wanna straight up trade my silver faced trans temp gauge (electrical) for your (if you have one) black faced gauge, i'd be more than happy to do that LOL, all the rest of mine are black

Message: Art,
Always put your sensor just ahead of the
cooler itself so that you will know how hot the
fluids are actually getting.
I have the AMSOIL By-Pass filtration system on
my truck so it was very east to install an oil
temp sensor in the inlet side.
My transmission temp gauge (VDO) was purchased
from NAPA and the sensor is right at the cooler
inlet.
Hayden offers a complete line of temperature
monitering products for the whole drivetrain and
most auto parts stores can order them for you.
