Message: I have checked out this site extensively. I think if you want to make an intake system it,s easy!
Just order from your auto parts a 3" stainless
u-bend about $17-$25 dollars. Cut pipe to make 90
degree bend. clean up inside & out with grinder.
Go to Checker Or Auto Zone & purchase 7" cone fitler K&N OR other aftermarket $20-$55 dollars.
Bolt this all together and Voila!! Cold air intake for 3.9,5.2 or 5.9 on the cheap. This all bolts to the existing air hat and intake tube assy. I also placed this inside the lower half of the stock air box so that it is protected somewhat from any splash or road gue!!!

Message: 4.7!!! Not the v-6 or 318/360. You still have to make a clean fitting for the case vent. Any muffler shop can bend 3" aluminized for 10 bucks, but will it do as good as an engineered intake?
