Message: Do you think it is pinging? Pinging sounds like someone is shaking a bag of marbles under your hood. Try the 93 and see if it helps the noise go away. You're lucky you have it available to you.

Message: At least in California, 91 octane is the highest available. Here in CT, we can get up to 94. Of course we also have some of the highest gas prices in the country.

Message: Josh...I thought you had issues with your PCM. Has that been resolved or determined to have been death flashed over? Mine runs great up to 3K rpm and then pings...sure its the belly pan gasket though and it just started recently at about 65K miles. Prior to that....kickin butt left and right up to 5500rpm.
How many miles you got on her now anyways?

Message: The 1999 5.9L PCM number is Federal : P5007107WA
California : P5007108WA The 2000 Numbers are Federal : P5007205WA, California : P5007206WA. Like DaveR says ,you must use 93 Oct. fuel with a PCM. It may take the computer a while to "set" it self to the new fuel. If you disconnect the battery the computer has to reset its self. The engine may run like sh!t for a while till it sets up.

Message: Josh,
From what you described in earlier posts, your Mopar PCM has been flashed over by the dealer. Purchase yourself a new Mopar PCM, the death flash is something no one should have to experience. Probably why your getting "smoked".
