Message: For starters get turn off your caps.
360intakez.com has intakes
truckperformance.com has intakes
krcperformance.com has intakes
z-tubes are good intakes though. If I were you i'd get 4" z-tube from premier-automotive.net. You may end getting a larger throttle boddy in the future.

Message: Go to www.intenseperformance.com they make the z-tube. And they are cheaper than premier automotive, at least last time I checked, when I got my Z-tube.

Message: Engines perform much better when drawing cool air into the TB.If you look at any new car or truck you will see that the manufacture try to pick up the out side air.If you look at any race car you will find some sort of cold are induction or ram air.Sure a Z-tub will make your vehicle sound like it is really going fast but all it is doing is drawing hot air.Ever see a Z-tub on a Nascar or a Indy car. It's your money.

Message: They don't build z-tubes for nascar, they build them for dakota's w/4.7 and if you think about it when you drive cooler air does enter the bay. Its not air tight! Even if it did bother you that you thought it was sucking hot air then you can box off the filter from the engine side, so the filter would pull from the vent inside the fender. On top of that its not sewer pipe or plastic. And looks hella nice.

Message: I was seriously looking at Volant, then I saw Z-tube and the 360. They look much better and were less expensive. I chose the 360 over the z-tube because the bends aren't so radical so the air can move quicker to the TB...less time to heat up.
Make sure whatever you buy you remove the rubber flap in front of the air filter so it will draw cold air, not warm air off the radiator. If you like I have some hi-res pictures of a cold air box/deflector I 'engineered' to help the cold air into the air filter...just e-mail me and I'll send them right out.

Not chrome (correct spelling), ceramic coated.
The Z-tube is specifically designed for the 4.7, if I'm from Poland then your from Siberia. DAH
