 Subject: Difference between Transgo and B&M

I was wondering..I have a 2000 Durango 2x4 and I'm wanting a shift kit and noticed that Transgo lists that the same kit works on just about every trans. But, B&M states theirs only work on '67-72 or so. Why does one work for all and the other just certain years?
The reason I ask is I got a B&M shift kit and its for '67-72 727 autos if Transgo works on all will this B&M go on my 518? Thanks! Rick

dont know much about it, but i think with a few minor mods to the valve body and the shift kit, it'd work.
