Subject: Chrysler 9.25" differential covers IP: Logged
Message: Hello everyone,
I wanted to let everyone know about a great differential cover that you might be interested in. I compared the rear axle of my 94 ram and my 2000 dakota and they are the same. This diff. cover is very popular with the Ram people. Here is the link to their site: http://www.mag-hytec.com/products.htm
I have no affiliation with the company.

Message: Ive checked out their site. Their covers look really nice. I especially like how they use an O-ring as a seal instead of the rtv sealant. They also have a dip stick to check the fluid level and a magnetic drain plug to catch the metal fillings. I think they run about $240, kinda pricy but I guess you get what you pay for.
Its definately on my list of things to get.

Message: I think someone on this site who is good at starting group buys, tries to haggle with mag-hytec we might get a good deal.

Message: I have the Mag-Hytec on mine. Great quality cover. Added oil capacity, better at heat dissipation. Not cheap, but actually a worthwhile mod for the above reasons alone.
It will fit with the Hotchkis suspension, BTW, for those who were wondering.
